This space is often used by CQUniversity and other local school music students who provide free lunch-time concerts to staff and visitors. There are also debates and other outdoor performances on the stage.
In the last few years a sailcloth roof structure has been added to make it more tolerable a location in the hot summer weather of the region.
There are free BBQ's directly adjacent, which are often utilised directly after performances.
