Faintly visible sundials are painted on the white walls of the castle courtyard New Castle in southern Bohemia.
The Castle of Nové Hrady (trans. New Castles) was in all likelihood built in the first half of 13th century on the point above the little river of “Stropnice” and “Novohradský potok” stream nearby an important Vitoraz trade route from Austria to Bohemia.

Slabe viditelné slunecní hodiny jsou namalované na bílé zdi nádvorí hradu Nové Hrady v jižních Cechách.

Hrad Nové Hrady byl postaven na ostrohu obtékaném ríckou Stropnicí a Novohradským potokem zrejme v první polovine 13. století.
