This siren is not omnidirectional like the one in nearby Seligman. The "horn" of the siren is aimed in a northwest direction. In fact, it is aimed at the schools - Elementary and High School. I have heard this siren a couple of times. One time was when a tornado passed just 1/2 mile west of where I live.
