From the circular walkway at the top of the monument you get a 360 degree view of New Ulm and the river valley. Because of the lush mature foliage most of the view is of treetops and not much else. But central New Ulm really stands out.

$2.00 per person. Children ages 5 and under admitted free with a paying adult. For safety reasons, all youth age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Monument will be closed for safety reasons during inclement weather and may reopen that day if weather conditions improve.
10:00AM to 7:00PM on the following schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays in May and September
Daily Memorial Day through Labor Day
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the first three weekends in October
