This boat ramp is a single lane concrete ramp with a jetty alongside.
Situated off SH41 via Omori Rd and Pihanga Road, there are toilets, picnic area beside the lake, and good parking. Ramp permits are required at this ramp. Daily $5, Annual $90.

Lake Taupo, the largest freshwater lake in New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere, is surrounded by stunning volcanoes, bush clad mountains and a spectacular landscape. It is an extremely popular location for boating holidays, water-skiing, trout fishing and small settlements around the lake all have their own boat ramps. Permits are required for their use.
