This part of rural Minnesota has a significant population of the Mennonite/Amish faith that doesn't hold with the use of modern gadgetry or today's ultra-liberal lifestyle. The main roads that are heavily travelled in this area have extra-wide shoulders to accomodate the Amish in their old-time conveyances. And warning signs such as this remind you to be alert for these slow-moving vehicles.
