Theses aren't the only pair of statues at Sonnenberg... A pair of Foo dogs at the entrance of the Japanese garden, and a pair of lions at the stairs of he Belvedere and pergola between the Italian garden and the Rose garden. I'll try to resist the urge to waymark them all, so others can have that pleasure, but greyhounds... I've got one, so this is personal!
F.F.Thompson and Mary Clark Thompson bought a farm in1863 and had this 40-room mansion built as their summer home in 1903 in the Queen Anne style.
Breed: Greyhound
Date Built: 1903
