Smelt Bay is a small (16 ha) park on Cortes Island. It offers 22 camp sites in a wooded setting, as well as a beach and large grassy meadow and picnic area.

Established in 1973 to protect native cultural site and to provide camping facilities on the island. Smelt Bay was named for a small fish which spawns on the shore in the fall and attracts all manner of wildlife to the area.
