You'll see this sign if playing the disk golf course Waymark WM291N.

Per an on-line news report: To meet the Eagle community service requirement, Mike restored and improved a trail in Pratt Park that had become unsafe for walkers and cross-country runners. As project leader, Mike, with the help of fellow Scouts and adults, cleared, widened and marked the half-mile pathway.
Mike also came up with a name for the trail--the Oakensunrise Trail. The name is a memorial to his late grandfather, John T. Ellington, who was strong like an oak tree, and to Michelle Goss, a young friend who died of cancer and whose cheerful attitude was like a sunrise.

Scout Troop 170 is sponsored by Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.

The trail has now been incorporated into a disc golf course, which continues its maintanance, especially after tornado knock down many trees. Bo
