Hobbit is in the alcove at the front of the art galley at the Frank Mills Outdoor Mining Machinery Museum located at 4th Street and Hwy. 6. It is displayed outside and is available for public viewing.

Hobbit stands about 7 feet tall and is hand craved from one piece of wood.

The features are well defined as shown with the details of the Hobbit's beard and eyebrows. He has a very prominent nose and there seems to be a house like hat on his head. The body of the piece is simply done in the form of a tree trunk.
