The Orientation Table is a monument to the R.A.A.F. No 31 Radar Station which was erected by R.A.A.F. Radar Men and the Corporation of the City of Darwin.
It was unveiled by Air Commodore A.G. Pither C.B.E. on 19th February 1967.
The Dripstone Cliffs are part of the Casuarina Coastal Reserve, which protects about 1500 hectares of coastal habitats between the estuaries of Rapid Creek and Buffalo Creek. It features 13 kilometres of sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs and shady
casuarina trees.
