Located in the southwest corner of the old part of the Sylvan Cemetery. Has a flagpole and mall stone building. Camp 89 0f the U.S.W.V (United Spanish War Veterans) was apparently responsible for the origin of this special resting place for the Spanish American war Veterans. The reason why there are so many veterans of the war from this area is due to the fact that during the Spanish American War, a U.S. Army Camp and
Induction Center was located the community of Roseville which is a short distance north of here.
