This little corrugated tin shack with wood trim has been abandoned by human beings, and now is a residence for some of Mother Nature's insect life. The door is off, rotted and in pieces on the ground near the base of the outhouse.

If you've gotta go, Shannon Cemetery up the road a few minutes has much better facilities! (visit link)
Location:
Prospect Cemetery is a virtually inactive but well-maintained cemetery with well over a hundred burials. The Handbook of Texas Online says this in its entry on the Prospect community: Prospect, a rural community in extreme southern Clay County, twenty-four miles south of Henrietta, the county seat, on State Highway 148, was established during the early 1880s. The settlement served as a trade center for local farmers and ranchers. A post office began operations there in 1893. Twenty people lived in Prospect during the 1930s and 1940s, during which time its businesses declined from two to one. The post office closed sometime after 1930.
