This station was reportedly built by the Pennsylvania Railraod in 1883. Some historical information calls this the Vandalia Station at Rockville. Now it is a trailhead on the Rails-to-Trails trail that passes on the old railroad right-of-way. It is also the starting point for all five organized routes that take you through the surrounding contryside to visit the covered bridges for which the area is famous.
