This is one of several fire stations associated with the Monett Rural Fire Department. Apparently that is different from the Monett City Fire Department. This station is in the unincorporated community of Pulaskifield.

As an interesting aside, there were only 2 hangings in Barry County. The first was a lynching of a man who killed a store-owning couple in Shell Knob. The second hanging, the only legal one, was in Cassville, the county seat, because of an incident that happened not far from this fire station.
