Still under development, this park was begun in 2009. At least they've gotten the playground done.

The playground has a whole host of little "ridem" items I find it difficult to describe, as well as the more recognizable swings, slides and climbing dome. This is a BIG climbing dome - bigger than any other we've seen. They're all on a pea gravel base with benches and tables nearby for relaxing and picnicking.
As of the fall of 2012 the playground was complete and many trees have been planted, pathways created and washrooms, lighting, benches and garbage/recycling put in place. The park will be completed as funding becomes available, either through grants, city budget availability or corporate or service organisation funding.
This isn't a good choice for a play break for the traveler as it's in the far corner of the city from the highways. There are closer parks with more facilities, such as Lakeside Park.
