The Kiasutha Campground (also known as the Kiasutha Recreational Area) is located on the western shore of the Allegheny Reservoir, situated near the southern tip of the reservoir.
This very large recreation area offers family campsites (utility hookups available) with picnic tables, fire rings and tent pads, paved loop roads, flush toilets, pressurized water fountains, hot showers, trailer dump station, swim beach, picnic area, playground, amphitheater and boat launch with courtesy dock. Amenities such as firewood, ice, interpretive services and 24-hour campground attendants are offered at the site.
The large, grassy, swimming beach (one of only two "official" beaches on the reservoir, the other being Kinzua Beach (
visit link) and picnic area have a capacity of 900 people. The day use area also includes a children's playground, a concrete boat launch with a loading dock, excellent parking facilities, and a bathhouse.
Kiasutha is located 10 miles northwest of Kane, PA on the Longhouse National Scenic Byway (Forest Road 262) about 2 miles north of the junction of State Route 321 and 9 miles south of State Route 59 at Kinzua Point.
