The church Notre-Dame-des-Anges, so called "Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption" is situated in Angles.
Built by 1210, the church was one of the components of an abbey, which included in particular a convent, dormitories, dining hall and chapter room. The abbey as well as the church were originally occupied by canons governed by saint's Augustin rule before the latter are destroyed during religious wars.
