The museum is one of two located in Duncan's Fuqua Park, a large park which also includes a Kiddieland Amusement Park, complete with carousel and toy train. (The other museum is dedicated to railroads and is located in the old
Admission to the museum is free, but donations are certainly appreciated and accepted. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. It contains a gift shop and also has space available for meetings. Guided tours are available for larger groups.
A number of ths displays consist of vignettes such as an early doctor's office, schoolroom, etc.
