This double-track stretch of CSX mainline is quite busy. On a recent Saturday afternoon three trains passed, about 45 minutes apart. There was the 100% container-stack freight at 11:53, the unit coal train of empties returning for reloading at 12:45, and the unit train of grain gondolas at 1:30. While Christiana is very small, is has a very nice restaurant in the historic Miller's Grocery with people flocking from miles around for the food. There is also a post office a few steps away if you need to take care of any postal business.
