The memorial consists of a statue of a miner holding a hammer in one hand and chisel in the other.  The statue was constructed of concrete and then coated with molten copper.  It stands on granite block.  Mounted on the base of the sculpture is a plaque inscribed:

Dedicated
To
Those Virile Men
The Copper Miners
Whose Contribution To The Development
Of The Wealth And Lore Of The State Of
Arizona Has Been Magnificent

 Erected By The Citizens Of The
Warren Mining District Eleventh
Day Of November, A.D. 1935
