This cultivator used small chisels to turn the soil between rows of small crops such as onions, cattots, or radishes to eliminate weeds or other plants that would compete with the crop for water and nutrients. The spacing of the chisels could be altered in several ways to change the spacing between rows. This cultivator could ciltivate up to 10 rows at one pass.
