The memorial is in the form of two sandstone columns set on square plinths. Area is paved and has a small garden at rear and a seat.
Dedication is on the base of the left hand column, WW1 names on both column bases and WW2 names on a panel on the base of both columns. On the lowest base of the left hand column is the name of the Korean War casualty.
One of the WW1 names is of a lady, Alice Hilda Lancaster. She is listed in the CWGC site -

Dedication reads -
"MONK BRETTON
HOLDS IN GRATEFULL MEMORY
HER BRAVE DEAD
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
FOR KING AND COUNTRY
IN THE GREAT WARS
1914 - 1918
1939 - 1945"
Memorial was originally sited on the other side of the road, but relocated later. This may account for the brickwork behind the memorial.
