Through truss railway bridge over the river of Elbe in Kolín on the Kolín – Nymburk line (km 298,866) replaced in 2010 the original bridge from 1908. Actually they are two parallel truss bridges with two rails. A steel latticed construction of 4 bays. The whole bridge construction consists of three parts. The northest part is prepared for future implementation of lifting mechanism. As it is suppposed the tranport of Elbe river will be in future more intensive, the new bridge should be able to be lifted from recent 5.25 meters over the river level up to 7 meters after the instalation of lifting mechanism.
