This border crossing is in the middle of the bridge that crosses the Mississippi River just above the confluence with the Ohio. The state line is marked on the bridge but you can't stop on the bridge for a picture.

After you cross the bridge over the Mississippi, you are greeted by a sign welcoming you to Missouri, the only indication of the border that you can photograph. There is an Illinois Welcome center on the Illinois end of the bridge that also services the Kentucky to Illinois border crossing at this extreme southern tip of Illinois.
