Groznjan is known as the "artists village". Decadent after the Second World War, its requalification was encouraged by the government, which promoted it offering housing for low cost (or for free) to artists from all over the country of Yugoslavia.
Most of the main places (well, almost every house in the village is a main place) have signs with a small description and the blacksmith shop in no exception. There, the visitor will learn that the place started as blacksmith shop in 1406, being owned by the town and rented to the smith.
Nowadays it's for rent, on a weekly basis - I mean, for tourists.
