The memorial is black granite tablet mounted on a black granite pedestal. On the tablet are 70 instances where military intelligence aviators lost their lives. Each instance identified by date lists the type of aircraft, geographic location and the soldiers who lost their lives.
The memorial is inscribed:
Eternal "Vigilance Above"
