This utility box is decorated on all four sides with an art form called kinescoping. Individually drawn lines produce a 3-D look also also gives the perception of motion.

This painted utility box is part of the Koreatown Northgate neighborhood improvement project.

This particular box, Linescaping, was done by artist Momoku Sudo . All four sides of the box are done with the artist's unique style. The design is an optical illusion that makes it not only look 3 dimensional, but also looks as if it's moving when you look at it. All lines are painted one by one freehand.

Unfortunately, this box has signs of tagging.
