This painted utility box is part of the Koreatown Northgate neighborhood improvement project.

This particular box, Life and Hope, was done by artist Pancho Peskador. This box is painted on all five sides. It's titled Life and Hope and features a full wraparound design and a starry sky on top. The sidewalk side features a boy watering a garden with mountains in the background and the street side shows a girl jumping rope in the rows of a planted field. Butterflies and insects are present flying around.
