The Roman Theatre in Brescia was built in the 1st Century AD. It is believed that this ancient theatre was capable of accommodating up to 15,000 spectators.

It is located east of the Capitolino temple facing the old decumano massimo, (the present Via Musei). The remains of the theatre were rediscovered in the Capitolium area, and contained objects in bronze, among which the Vittoria Alata is now housed in the Saint Julia Museum.
