Can't say how long ago the station last pumped any gas, as these Bowser pumps haven't been in use anywhere for zillions of years. Bowsers are recognized as the first gas pumps ever produced, which explains their total simplicity (and only vague accuracy).
The gas pump, however, is close to, if not all of, a century old, and is unlikely to have been used for decades. The most recent patent date on the nameplate is from 1911, with other patents pending. It was made by S.F. Bowser & Co. Inc., of Toronto, Ontario, a division of Bowser of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
