This old tractor has been beautifully restored. It looks like it never left the sales floor of the local dealer and never did a day's productive work. But it sure looks great. It was the first tractor actively marketed as a replacement for horses which were the dominant farm power of that era. The Model N was introduced in 1917 by the Waterloo Boy Tractor Company, which was acquired by the John Deere Company in 1918.
