In Fall River, north of the city center is Temple Beth El.

The building is located at the corner of High and Locust Street. The synagogue building is a square building, with a school building next to it down Locust Street. The main building is squarish and has tan brick, with two short round 'salt shaker' towers on either side. Three pairs of doors are at the top of a wide flight of stairs. Immediately above the doors are semicircular arches, each with a symbol: a minorah, a Star of David, and a scroll (probably the torah). Above that is the inscription: "Seek God while He May Be Found." Above that are [probably] the tablets of the Commandments. Diamond and scale designs decorate the top.

According to the web site, the congregation started in 1924. In 1929, the congregation occupied the present synagogue. The congregation considers itself conservative, but in addition to the traditional services, they blend Hebrew prayers and meaningful congregational particpation.
