Mission San Francisco Solano was founded July 4, 1823, the last of the 21 California missions. The Mission is named for St. Francis Solano, and was a parish church serving the Sonoma Valley until it was sold in 1881. It is now part of the Sonoma State Historic Park.

Sonoma State Historic Park has a fee of $3 per person.
