Daniel Boone was born February 11, 1735 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania (both date and location of birth are disputed, listing date and location shown on marker) and died September 26, 1820 in St. Charles County, Missouri. Daniel Boone was known as explorer and settler in both Kentucky and Missouri and there are many legends about his life. His remains were reportly removed to Frankfort, KY in 1845, though some dispute that it was his body which was moved.
