The monument is a raised platform with a replica cannon and a pile of cannon balls. On either side of the platform are flag poles.
The brass plaque on the front of the monument is:
"This monument is dedicate to the veterans of the American Civil War, and all veterans of past, present and future times. Also to the defense workers and all who contributed to the advancement of our country and those who preserve the freedom and prospect of our great nation.
With appreciation to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Free and Accepted Masons, Shrine and All Masonic Brethren, the American Legion, Amvets, VFW and citizens of the White Haven area whose contributions made this monument possible."
