The white marble name and dedication tablet is mounted on a grey marble slab and fixed as per a bracket to the south face of the tower's north-east buttress, north of the tower arch. It records the names of 31 men of the parish who died in the Great War. The dedication wording is:
               To the Glory of God, and in grateful Memory of the
                  Men from the Parish of Great Baddow who gave
                    their lives in the Great War. 1914 - 1919.
                             this tablet is erected.

Above the wording on the panel is a coronet which I cannot attribute to any in the British system, it is more like the Freiherrnkrone (baron's coronet) of the Continental system which shows seven tines with pearls.
