The small 5.5 acre Helen Davis Memorial Park has a few picnic tables, a memorial plaque to Helen M Davis, who was the author of the Washington State song, "Washington, My Home", and the park is also the location of the Ron Craig boat ramp which provides access to the Willapa River, near the North Cove, in Pacific County, near the city of South Bend.
The fee depends upon the size of boat launched:
$5 to launch boat (includes parking of vehicle and Trailer), for each 24 hours. Large boats, $15 per calendar day.
A curiousity at this location is a tree trunk that has been set up on a concrete base, and labled with a sign "Judge Tree" with no additional explaination.
There is also a tsunami interpretive sign, explaining how earthquakes out at sea can cause these huge waves.
