The station building canopy and signal box were originally at Subiaco on the Perth to Fremantle suburban line,they were relocated here in 2006 following their removal to make way for an underground station in it's place.
On the other side of the tracks is the relocated East Perth station canopy.
The station is on a tourist railway run by the Bennett Brook Railway and is operated by the West Australian Light Railway Preservation Association
