According to the topographic maps, this building was once the meeting house called Mount Zion Church in rural McDonald County, Missouri. The door is opened, and you can peer into the building; but I would not suggest that you go into it.

Whilst I was taking photos of it, a local lady stopped along the road to ask if everything was OK. I asked her if she knew anything about the church and when it was last used. She said that it was Mount Zion Church and that it had been used until the early 1980s. Apparently it dissolved, and the building was left as it is with the doors unlocked. She also said that a family of foxes lives on the grounds.
