This monument to those who have served in the US Armed forces was dedicated on Memorial Day, 1993 in the town of Willernie. It occupies a corner of the triangular park which serves as a City Center. The monument was placed by the Kramer-Berg American Legion Post #507. The polished granite stone reads:
"IN HONOR AND MEMORY OF ALL MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"
and shows a bald eagle clutching a US Flag. The monument also contains a single flagpole, upon which fly a US flag and a POW-MIA flag.

Description of Memorial: A small park in the center of the village of Willernie, MN. The monument is set in a garden with low flowers around, mid-sized hedges behind, and some tall pine trees behind that. There is a light available for keeping the flag illuminated at night or in bad weather (although I do not know if this is actually done)
