The entrance to the campground displays some marvelous outdoor wood carvings. A totem pole depicts northwoods icons: a bull moose head with a cardinal on top, a teepee, fish, and a palm tree (northwoods???). A bear is crawling up the side. Next to the totem pole a bear emerges from a stump while an eagle watches from his perch above. All are created from local trees. This display can be easily seen from the road.
