The San Juan Spruce is located within the small San Juan River Recreation Site off Bear Creek Main east of Port Renfrew. Signs pointing to the recreation site along the way should make it fairly easy to find your way here.
To navigate without the signs:
-From Port Renfrew, drive east on Pacific Marine Road to Nine Mile Junction, where you want to take the right fork onto Lens Main.
-At the next fork, again take the right one onto Bear Creek Main.
-Follow this road until you cross the bridge over the San Juan River, then immediately turn left into the recreation site. You can park very close to the tree.
