This is one of the most easily-accessible big trees around. A short, well-marked, wheelchair-accessible path runs about 50 metres from the road to this massive tree in the Harris Creek Spruce Recreation Site. It somehow avoided the saws when this area was logged in the late 1800s, and has simply kept growing since.
