"Wally" is a replica of the Kyle Wooly Mammoth unearthed on this very road October 17, 1964 by a scraper blade during road construction. The Wooly Mammoth Bones were determined to be about 12,000 years old.

"Wally" is dedicated to the Citizens of Kyle, Present, Past and Future, in hope that you will strive for community pride.
