This small Chapel-shrine, build of black volcanic rocks, has the height of a man. It stands in Ponta Delgada, at a small square beside the narrow street Rua Teófilo de Braga. In a niche with glass door, is displayed a (marble?) depiction of N. S. Auxiliadora (Mary Help of Christians).
The age of the shrine is unknown, but the chapel and the statue look quite new.
