The Riverwalk is publicly accessible on both sides of the Genesee River. Because this is a long expanse with no trees are other barriers, there are plenty of options for viewing the city here, on the east side. Take your best rout the Mt Hope Ave, and park near Hamilton St (the apartment complex nearby takes its name from the street nearby. Or, if you are visiting from downtown, simply follow the Riverwalk south from the Convention Center.
The Mary Jemison tour boat launches from Corn Hill Landing across the river (right side of the Freddie. - Sue bridge)
