There is a road leading off Highway 22 to the east (Murphy Creek Road) which goes all the way down to this bridge. Low clearance 2 WD is not recommended, but quite possible.

I believe that the original bridges on this line, built about 1897, were wooden and were replaced by the steel ones in either 1909 or 1919. This one is definitely of that era.
