The bridge is just south of the entrance to the Woodbury Resort & Marina. It is a small concrete and steel girder bridge, built in 1957. Woodbury Creek, over which the bridge carries Highway 31, rises in the hills to the west. Spring is the only time of heavy flow, when the snow in the hills is melting.

One may pull completely off the highway either 200 feet south of the bridge, to the west, or just north of the bridge, to the east.
