There is more to the story of this black and white mosaic than meets the eye.
The mosaic on the entrance landing next calls it the Forlow Bldg.
A plaque on this building next to the entrance calls it the Farlow Building.
Page 115 of Images of America Roseville calls it the Forlow Building and states it was constructed in 192. Source

1868 - Original site of the B. W. Neff Residence
1927 - Built by Fred Farlow known as the "Farlow Block"
